Building a Strong Research Ecosystem for Sustainable Development
The African Academy of Sciences’ Alliance for Accelerating Excellence in Science in Africa, the Wellcome Trust, DFID and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are organising a track to discuss how to create an enabling and viable research ecosystem in Africa.
The Building a Strong Research Ecosystem for Sustainable Development track will take place during the 2016 Grand Challenges Annual Meeting, which runs from 24 to 26 October 2016 in London, England. Grand Challenges is a family of initiatives fostering innovation to solve key global health and development problems.
The track will bring together African and global partners to promote collaboration and discuss ways of building a viable research ecosystem in Africa.
